Friday's Fave Five

Living to Tell the Story

 1. Last Saturday my family and I went on the mountain to see the beautiful fall leaves.

2. Sunday evening some of my cousins came for a visit. We always have a lot of fun, laughing, talking, and eating.

3. My cell phone stopped working the other day. Everytime I would push reply, it would make my phone turn off. I haven't had this phone for very long, and I was hoping it would start working again. I prayed this it would start working, and yesterday it started working again and has ever since!! Yay!

4. Yesterday at the store I mentioned that this would be my first year I hadn't carved a pumpkin, so my mom and dad asked me if I would want to....and they bought me this BIG orange pumpkin!

5. A few days ago we watched "Sarah, Plain, & Tall" and "Skylark"--two of my favorite movies. Tonight we will watch the ending story, "Winter's End."

What were your favorite things from this past week?

  1. I've seen the first two films but I don't know if I have seen the last. We'll have to keep these in mind for movie night.

Glad your phone started working again! The visit with cousins sounds fun.

Aren't the leaves just gorgeous this time of year?!

  3. Welcome to FFF, Amber! It's nice to have you join in!

I love the red maple leaves in fall. So gorgeous.

I never had cousins close by when growing up, they all lived in Hungary, so I really enjoyed watching my own kids have good times with their cousins. Nice that you have cousins you are close to and can have fun with!
