FOR TODAY
Outside my window... Sunny and 69 degrees. The leaves are starting to turn. We noticed quite few changing yesterday while we were traveling.
I am thankful... safe travels yesterday and for the nice cooler weather we are having.
I am thinking... it was nice seeing my grandma & grandpa, great grandma, lots of aunts and uncles, and many cousins yesterday, even though it was very rainy and for my great-great-uncle's funeral.
I am wearing... a grey t-shirt, jeans, and socks.
I am going... to take my dog for a walk later, because it's so nice outside. :)
I am reading... for school I just finished reading, "Calico Captive" by Elizabeth George Speare (now one of my new favorite books) and also I have been reading "Flight From Stonewycke" by Michael Phillips & Judith Pella.
I am looking forward to... when I can see all my family again...but hopefully not for a funeral.
Around the house... my mom and I sliced apples, which are cooking on the stove now. We are going to make applesauce. We still have lots of green ones that haven't turned yet.
A favorite quote for today... when I'm older and my little girl asks me who my first love was, I don't want to have to pull out the old photo album...I want to be able to point across the room and say, "He's sitting right over there..." ♥
One of my favorite things... Fall leaves :)
A few plans for the rest of the week: School, groceries tomorrow, my dad is going to get the oil changed in the car on Saturday, and I'm not sure if there is anything else.
